Herrera is pleased to welcome Gus Kays to our Seattle office. Mr. Kays is an environmental engineer with experience in water resources engineering and construction. Prior to joining Herrera, Mr. Kays was involved with operating Snohomish County’s stream and river gauging and flood warning system, and developed an innovative real-time bridge pier scour monitoring system for the County. Mr. Kays is currently working on WSDOT’s stormwater quality monitoring National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program. Mr. Kays is also currently working on a project to upgrade Seattle Public Utilities current sewer, stormwater, and natural stream flow monitoring systems.
